Claire Rumsby is a UK-based artist printmaker who creates joyful, nature-inspired artwork, with a particular love for florals in all their vibrant, expressive forms. Her work celebrates the beauty of the natural world, brought to life through a playful mix of hand-printed techniques, including linocut, monoprint, and tetra-pak (orange juice cartons).

Each piece begins with a simple idea — a wildflower from a walk, a bloom from her garden, or the feeling of a changing season — and is transformed into colourful, uplifting prints designed to spark connection and brighten everyday spaces. Claire’s floral designs are known for their bold shapes, rich textures, and cheerful colour palettes.

Drawing on five years of printmaking experience, Claire combines traditional and experimental methods to create unique compositions that are full of energy and heart. Her process is intuitive and joyful, embracing imperfections and the surprises that come with working by hand.

Claire believes in being as sustainable as possible and often sources preloved frames for her work.
