About Me

I am an artist printmaker in Leicestershire that specialises in creating artworks that celebrate colour, texture, and the simple beauty of the natural world. My work is rooted in a mix of traditional and contemporary techniques such as linocut, monotype and dry point etching.

My love of printmaking started over 30 years ago screen printing at school and was reignited in more recent years as a respite from working digitally as a freelance surface pattern designer.

I work in small editions and commissioned pieces with a strong focus on craftsmanship and sustainability.

My Why

I have both logical and creative aspects to my personality and printmaking is where those two instincts meet.

I’m drawn to the process of translating a single flower into layers — studying its shape, the way light moves across each petal, and the quiet structure beneath its softness. That close observation is at the heart of my floral art prints.

Each piece is built slowly and with consideration. I choose the paper carefully, mix the ink to the right consistency, and decide which printmaking technique will best express each layer. It’s a balance of control and intuition.

As I print, the artwork reveals itself gradually — layer by layer. Each one brings its own texture and depth, often adding something unexpected, something more than I could have planned.

This is what I love about creating luxury botanical prints. There are parameters, but no fixed rules. Just a thoughtful, considered process that results in timeless floral artwork designed to be lived with.
